All of the audio clips on this site are encoded in the real media codec and end in the .rm file extension. Audio clips will not play in any player that does not support the real media codec and/or the rtsp (real-time streaming protocol)
Instrucions for setting up REAL PLAYER 10 to play streaming audio:
1. Open up Real Player
2. Go to to tools
3. Select Preferences
4. Under category select the content options until you see an option for media types
5. Click on Media Types
6. An option box appears where you will see a list of media formats available. Select the advanced tab button to the right of this box.
7. Scroll down till you see a list of selections under "other media"
8. Find and select the option for Real-Time Streaming Protocol
9. Click the OK button
Note: Media Types preferences will not be available if you are logged onto Windows (2000, ME, XP) as a Guest or another limited user. To change these preferences you must have an administrative-level account.
Note: RealNetworks is constantly working to expand the abilities of your Player; as you add plug-ins to RealPlayer this list will change.
Attention: When you select this preference page, RealPlayer will take several moments to determine what Media Types are supported and if they are selected.

Media Types |
Short list of supported media types. RealPlayer can play any of the supported media types. It is the default player for the checked media types. | |

Advanced: Opens the Media Types selection dialog, listing all the supported formats and the currently assigned default player for each format. Scroll through the list and select (check) or clear (uncheck) the media types that you would like RealPlayer to play by default. You can also click Select All to select all the currently supported media types or Deselect All so that none of the media types are selected. Click OK to accept the changes and close the dialog. | |

Notify me..: Other software can modify your computer settings so that some of the selected media types will not use RealPlayer by default. Select this option to let RealPlayer check your system every time you start RealPlayer, and notify you if the defaults have been changed. When clicking media...: Enables Universal Media Playback within the Media Browser. When enabled (checked), all links selected within the Media Browser will play back their presentations in RealPlayer. |
